At the end of each day our gate has many new advertisements slipped in between the bars. Some of them are very ordinary– flyers advertising maid services or boring walas or satellite dishes. Others may include grocery store sales and fast food delivery menus.
Every once in awhile something really cool turns up. This advertisement shows some of the typical upholstery you might find in a home here (unless you get everything from IKEA like we do). You can go to the shop or the salesperson comes to your home with fabric samples. The consultant shows you different designs, you pick out the fabrics you like, they take measurements of your windows and walls, then they install them after they’re made. Pretty and fancy!

My, that is a LOT of swagged fabric. Julie Andrews could make a whole mess of lederhosen with those drapes!
