The sky is in rare form today so the conditions are brilliant for portrait shots! All I needed were a few gorgeous people who were A) not napping and B) willing to pose for the camera. These shots are all SOC– what a difference a cloudy sky makes.

My mom gave me a couple of seed packets of Texas wildflowers. We thought it would be a fun science experiment to see how well they do out here since the climate is very similar to Texas. Even though the soil is completely different, a few flowers came up!

Angelic Amara’s newborn portraits are quite unique. Most of the time portraits of newborns need some sort of digital adjustment for one reason or another. SOC means that these files were taken “straight out of the camera” and have not been edited.

She’s breathtaking. Amara Grace is the newest Redeemer baby. I love how her parents named her– Amara is an Arabic name that means eternal. And I love how she was born– safe and sound after a 26-hour labor that was the picture of God’s grace for her and her parents… and in the same hospital [...]
